Sophelia, thanks for writing so soon! We miss you already, but you will be back soon enough. I knew you would do well, you always was eager to read up on every subject when your father told you that you will be the head of the Mervil goods.
Oh, I must tell you... If you decide to take a break from your studies to have a coffee with a boy, my tip would be to look out for Mr Frances J. Worthington III. He is of very good family, your dad used to know his grandfather. I'm not sure what money he is good for, but at least you can expect his manners to be decent.
