  • Thank you all! Sophie is so adorable and very friendly! She is 3 1/2 years old. My husband (who took the picture) and I adopted her ultimately from the local Cat and Dog Home (their version of the animal shelter here). Sophie is a mixture of Lassie collie and another breed (we don't know which one). And thank you for your welcome! Also, you can see why what happened to Bud early in Season 8 touched me so much. And lastly, if any of you come to Scotland, I *highly* recommend spending some time around Loch Lomond, which is one of my very favorite places in the country! • I can't imagine such a lovely dog (or any animal for that matter), being abandoned. Sophie and you and your husband, are very lucky to have each other. Oh gosh, you actually LIVE in this beautiful place! How wonderful. And yes, I can understand what happened to Bud,touched you so much. I recall when we saw that episode, how shocked we all were, even though we knew it was only a story line. (NT) -- Cece, 11:40:43 10/29/13 Tue
