Hi Stephen. I've done all but 3 events, all with 4" sump clearance and have never holed a sump. I drive as fast as I can all the time, legally of course, and have taken all the 'off road sections'. You just need to be a bit careful on the lumpy stuff. You're more likely to take out a rim, tyre or damper. My Phoenix is identical to a Striker under the skin, so know the ground clearance. Perhaps fit a shallow sump that sits no lower the the chassis, as mine have. This should be a great trip. Hope to see you back with us. Cheers, Spike
