Subject: Fliiping for the Troop

“FLIPPING”
FOR THE TROOPS

Dear Sir or Madam:
Hello, my name is Kimberleigh Stelly. I am the 7 year old daughter of Veronica Bellard and Jody Stelly and I live in Opelousas Louisiana. I have one sister, Kaitlyn. I was recently crowned Little Miss Spice and Music Ambassador Queen in Opelousas. Here is where I need your help.
My dad is USMC 2nd Lieutenant Jody Stelly. In his honor I decided to do something special for all the troops who are fighting for our country. I know people all over the world are helping any way they can and I want to do my part to honor my own daddy who is serving in the military.
After trying to see what I could do to help the troops and seeing what everyone needed, I went to our church, Crossroads, and saw that the Pastor was asking for black flip-flops for the soldiers. This is when I knew this was what I needed to do. I want to help get them some flip flops to wear. I know times are hard for people, my mom is a single parent and raises us alone, but flip flops are not expensive at all. For a few dollars everyone can help put some shoes on our soldiers. Being it is so hot in Iraq and Afghanistan, I know the troops could use some flip flops to help their feet beat the heat.
I would like to come to your organization and see if I can promote my ‘Flipping for the Troops’. I want to make my dad proud and this is my way of telling him thank you for taking care of our Country.
My Pageant director is Robin Abshire; you can reach her at rabs2183@aol.com or her cell 337-296-7052.
