He smiled lovingly at her encouragement, his head tipped to the side. “it would take some time away from you, the classes are at night but I think they are mostly at the same time as your sessions, that would work out perfectly and it would only be for a couple of weeks…” He smiled, pressing a kiss to her cheek as he continued playing with her hair, his eyes tender on her. He wasn’t sure how these feelings had developed for this girl so quickly but he had no doubt in his mind that they were real. He hadn’t felt anything like this before for anyone, this desire to do everything and anything for her - just to see her smile. He just wanted her to be happy and healthy and he would do anything in his power to make sure that happened. It seemed they were on the right track to that and nothing else could make him happier. She still had her bad days, but she hadn’t relapsed once and she was starting to really get into her therapy sessions instead of dreading them. It seemed that she was finally getting comfortable with working through her addiction and that was a huge step. Forcing himself back out of his thoughts, he smiled at her, working up the courage and thinking of how he wanted to say what he wanted to get out. After a few seconds he just leaned up, murmuring in her ear oh so softly. “I love you.” He meant it too, with his whole heart, she didn’t have to return the words, he wasn’t expecting that from her, not yet. Since he was so sure he felt it though, he didn’t feel right keeping it to himself. If anything, god forbid, should happen to one of them he would hate himself if she didn’t know and he did…
