He had good self-restraint and so managed to wrap up his conversation with his friend before squeezing the other man's shoulder and heading into the kitchen to help himself to the leftovers that Joey recommended. He loaded himself up a plate and popped it in the microwave to heat it up, and just stood there watching it go round and round while he waited. He loved his private lush apartment, and he liked to be alone a lot - or just with Cam - but it was a nice break for him to be able to come here to the house that was almost always bustling and full of life.
