Subject: Rio had knocked off early from work- it had started raining heavily again and there hadn;t been much point carrying on at the building sight- so most of the labourers had been sent home. He let himself intot he almost empty house, most of the kids either at work or going about their day, Lacey was in the lounge cleaning but no one else was around that he could see. He headed straight upstairs to change out of his work clothes, letting himself into their room and glancing over her as he found her there- not quite expecting to see her in there so quiet. "Hey beautiful, you alright?"

  • She jumped a little when his voice startled her out of her thoughts, her jaw clenched for a long moment before she ran a hand through her choppy blonde hair, letting out a slow breath. "Um, yeah...yeah I am fine." She stated before she tossed the picture onto the bed as if it hadn't shaken her entire soul and being. "They sent me the pictures...remember they talked about sending me updates and stuff?" She questioned absently before she cleared her throat and shook her head, letting out a deep breath before she headed to the closet to change herself into something more comfortable - she was in a pair of tight jeans and a equally tight black fishnet style shirt, just her usual work-wear.
