He stated with a small smirk and a shrug, his eyes moving over hers as he tried to lighten the moment a little bit. "A lot of the older kids are getting ready to get their own places, I mean, Kaden and Ella already got their own place and I think Rio is hopin' to get a place for him and Jackie soon...I just don't know if we are going to be getting any more new arrivals..." He tried to keep in contact with people at the center, see if anyone coming out needed a place to stay so they didn't just get thrown back into the system...

She stretched out on her back and let her hands rest on her stomach, letting her golden eyes drift down to her flat belly "Right... and maybe one day we can get a place of our own." She smirked almost teasingly at him, letting her head fall to the side so she could glance over at him- she knew he was the complete mother hen of this place- and he's never leave it until there was either someone there to take his place or until everyone else had found their feet and their own places.
