Subject: She smiled at that, shrugging her shoulders. "I might as well I suppose. I have a dorm room at RDU but since I transferred I seem to have been spending most of my time here." She smiled a little, though it was a sad expression. "Right now I think everyone here can use as much support and help as they can get." It was so sad what had happened here and how it had affected each person so differently. She leaned against the counter, not wanting to bring up anything painful with him so she skittered around the conversation carefully. She could talk about it with Joey, Joey needed to talk about Lysia, it was something he just had to do...but this guy was hard to read and she wasn't sure how to deal with him. Not that he was one of the kids that needed her as a counselor but he was probably hurting more then anyone else.

  • He didn't know how to handle it himself. Mostly, it just seemed like the sort of thing that he had to deal with on his own. It hurt so much to talk about her, and it hurt just as much to think about her, but mostly he just preferred to be alone in dealing with things. He poured himself a generous double of the strong scotch and raised it to his lips before he turned slowly back around to face her. He was uneasy meeting new people these days, but there was no one else around yet and he didn't have much of a chance. "When did you get here?" (NT) -- Travis, 10:20:52 10/11/05 Tue
