Author: Cam/Joey
Subject: She helped clean up after everyone was done eating and then stepped outside for a few minutes to chat with Jackie - the girl had been on a downhill slide lately and she just wanted to see what she had been up to... His eyes followed his friend as they followed Cam to the door before he spoke. "She's a sweet girl, not like the other girls here, you know? She was in the system too, same as most of us, but she got lucky and got a good foster family...now she just wants to be a social worker so she can help out kids in the same situation.'

  • He glanced up at the new girl slipped out, and then turned his attention to Joey when he spoke, nodding a little. "She seems alright.." He commented - which was saying a lot for him, because it was rare these days that he would offer a semi-positive compliment about someone who he wasn't one hundred percent sure of. "You known her a long time?" He asked, tipping his head back a little as he stood to place his dishes in the washer and sneak himself another generous shot of scotch.
