Subject: "Yeah, everythings good sweetheart.." He murmured affectionately, his hand soothing through her hair slowly, softly. He shifted just a touch so he could brush his lips across her forehead and then down her cheek before his hand dropped to pick up hers, his thumb running slowly over the wedding ring there. His eyes fluttered back up to hers, searching for a second before he let out a soft breath and returned to focusing on his cigarette. There were to many unanswered questions...

Sighing softly, her gaze returned to his and she kissed his cheek in turn, a hand shifting to cup his opposite cheek, thumb slowly tracing his lips. Her brows furrowed gently, and her voice was soft and tentative - almost a whisper, but simple and pointed. "Kaden? Can I kiss you?"
