He heard her coming even as she stepped down the stairs, he could just tell it was her by the sound of her footsteps. He had always been pretty percepting like that, depending on his senses to identify people to him even as they walked up behind him. His eyes took in her attire, admiring the way that the clothes fit over her curves before he tipped his head up so he could brush a kiss to her cheek. They still hadn't actually kissed which was strange since he had practically proclaimed that he had feeling for her the other night but he was in no hurry to rush him. He pursed his lips, tugging her from her spot kneeling on the couch to being settled in his lap. His head tilted to the side as he regarded her with a slight almost nearly half smile..maybe more or a quarter smile really. "It's good, you just missed the part with the turtles, its great." He wrapped his arms fully around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder. "You should stay and watch it with me..." He wasn't going to let her go out alone, he refused.

An arm slipped around his neck and one hand spread over his chest as she nuzzled his cheek and settled into his lap with a warm smile. "I'm just going to run out to the store. I'll be back in a half hour, and I'll watch whatever you want with you." She promised quietly, her fingers on his chest slipping down to brush his stomach before running slowly up his arm, touch sweet and affectionate. She truly couldn't believe that he hadn't just written her off after that night, but it had scored some serious trust merits with her and she just wanted to be around him whenever possible now.
