She called after him and then just watched him go before turning her gaze to the view beyond the porch while she finished her beer, and then headed inside to tidy up her room or watch television or something just to pass the time. She really had nothing else important to take care of.

  • Soon enough he was out cold, the windows drawn to block out the harsh light of the sun and cuddled beneath a blanket, warm and toasty and no where near waking up anytime soon unless someone purposefully woke him up.
