Subject: As usual, he had been up all night and the sun wasn't quite high enough in the sky yet to send him running to his bed. He'd heard someone sneaking around so he had emerged to figure out who it was only to pause in his step as he saw her. His brow furrowed as he watched her, debating how to approach this. "Must have been a rough sleep, pet, to get you that banged up..." He knew she hadn't been sleeping, knew she hadn't been here the whole night but he wanted to see what kind of excuse she would make up now.

  • She didn't even feel like making excuses right now, and as a result he was the last person she wanted to run into- lying wasn't hard for her, but it was getting difficult with him. Nodding just a touch, her eyes lingered on him for a long moment before she turned her back to him as she faced the sink and filled up her glass - careful of her busted lip as she popped those pills in hand.
