Subject: She turned her face away from him and her eyes fixed on the floor past, but one hand ran up his arm slowly - just wishing that he hadn't been around to see her. Shaking her head a little, she squeezed his shoulder, almost reassuringly, and mustered a very unconvincing smile. "Nah... Just a couple bumps..." She didn't know what she could tell him - someone didn't just fall down and get up covered in bruises like hers.
In reply to: Ella 's message, "

And I swear I didn't know
That things like this could happen
To a seventeen year old

"You don't have to lie to me, love." he murmured softly, his hand running soothingly over her side, slowly, softly, just gently touching her to try and get her to calm down beneath his hands. She was tense and that was understandable if someone was hurting her then she had every right to be tense. "Was it someone you know?" (NT) -- Kaden, 11:41:36 05/29/05 Sun
