Subject: He got out some eggs and milk and juice and such - getting ready to make an omlette for her. His mind was occupied so he fell silent, just trying to figure out who she could have possibly pissed off so much to have them lay into her like that. Not that it would have been her fault or anything but it had obviously been a guy and his mind was just running wild with thoughts.

  • She just watched him for a while before wandering over to settled down onto the edge of a chair at the table, fingers crossed between her knees and eyes eventually working their way back to him. This was her fault and her life and she felt bad that he had been pulled into it, yet she didn't want things any other way now.
