She'd more than embarrassed herself on more than one occasion with this boy - but falling asleep the night after she'd run into her mother, hearing his even breathing had settled her, and she'd felt fine since. Every once in a while, she convinced herself that a couple of screws were coming loose upstairs but she usually managed a quick save. She hesitated only a second longer before she peeked up over the back of the couch to get a look at him. "Hey.."
