She hadn't seen him around a whole lot - sometimes he didn't come home, but she didn't let herself wonder about that. "Something boring." She handed the remote to him. "Here, you pick. What you been up to?"

He stated softly, his words were usually soft unless he was angry. He just didn't do a lot of the casual talk thing and though he felt comfortable with her, he just wasn't the chatterbox type.
