Subject: He knelt down to help her pick up the things on the floor before she said his name His brow furrowed and he stood up, his brow cocked as he ran his eyes over her. She didn't look familiar, he was sure he had seen her once or twice at the facility but other then that he had no clue who she was. "Do I know you?" He questioned, his well muscled arms crossing over his chest as he stared down at the girl.

  • She hoisted her basket back up onto her hip and wrinkled her brow a little as she watched him, straightening herself out and standing to her full height. "You probably wouldn't remember me, but I'm Astrid." She didn't bother to explain where they knew one another from - it was a time that was long forgotten for most of the kids that she'd met through the centers - they didn't bother to think about the "good days" anymore because it made them hate the situation they were in even more. Herself, she'd all but blocked out that time - it had helped her develop her sense of "where I am is where I'm at" so that she wouldn't lose herself in her desire for what had been.
