Subject: He shrugged a touch, his eyes moving over her. "I didn't forget you, your just all grown up now." He stated softly, his voice low and rough. He didn't use it very much so it was naturally gravelly. His eyes played over her before his brow furrowed. "What are you doin' here? Didn't see you as the gettin' in trouble type." He had always thought she was the 'good girl' in the group, even her daddy hadn't seemed like the other guys, he was the good one in the group - the one who tried to keep all the guys grounded and in check.

  • She shrugged a little, her eyes darkening a moment. "After daddy got shot, momma got sick. She couldn't take care of me so I got bounced around to a ton of different foster homes until they finally picked me up and put me away for stealing - it was a lot easier than trying to find someone else to take me on.. and then they convinced me to come here. I don't care, really - I would only have had another year in the centers, but it's nice to be out." And it was true - she could have handled it, she had just seen a window of opportunity and taken it. (NT) -- Astrid, 10:26:03 04/29/05 Fri
