• She was reading a book, as usual, but placed her bookmark in her spot when she heard his knock and then his identification of himself. Standing, she unlocked the door and offered him a smile as she pulled it open. "Hey.." She had been hiding a bit, but she blamed it on just being tired due to the baby. "How are you?" • "I haven't been hiding away." She stated with more conviction then she really felt. She was begining to hate being the 'baby' around here, the one everyone felt had to be looked after. She especially hated being the baby to Rio, she wanted to be a woman in his eyes but that was never going to happen if she kept running to him everytime one of the demons that haunted her rose up and struck out. • Him and Nina were the past... and while they tended to linger there in an almost hopeful parody of simpler times, things would never return to the place they had come from... they'd taken all they could from each other- now all they seemed to try and do was reminise. • She nodded a touch, letting out a soft breath as she rested her head on his shoulder, just relaxing for a moment in the comfort of his embrace. Her mind went to when she had kissed him, remembering the way his lips had felt, the way his muscles had felt beneath her fingers...shaking her head, she sighed reluctantly and shifted, reaching up to press a kiss to his cheek. "I got to run and fill my prescription on my vitamins." • She had really thought he was going to kiss her and when he backed away, a slight glimpse of disappointment crossed her features.
