Their mother had stripped and go knows what else for some easy cash and even when she claimed she'd been redeemed and saved |lacey had known better. And since the boys had gone and Lacey had grown up, grown beautiful, her mother had resented her and hated her even more. "She hates me... she's jealous of me"
