I was Miss Michigan 2006, and I have always wanted to do pageants since I was little. I was not "allowed" until I was 16, and even then I had to come up with all the sponsorships on my own. You can tell who wants to do pageants and who does not. It is the same with any competition. Whether it's equestrian, gymastics, or ballet. Although I think it's quite silly that mothers would come on here to insult children, childhood is hard enough alone. Instead of hurting children, embrace them. Even though this is your child's competition, deal with your insecurities on your own, not through here. Pick your battles. There is world falling apart, so use your energy for the good of man kind.
