Wow... I had a ton of jobs starting as a newspaper carrier when I was 12. I worked in a picture frame gallery... an upholstery shop.. flipped burgers at Jolly Giant.. drove deliveries for a florist and a liquor store once I got old enough for that. Spent part of one summer working at a camp for kids.. and another as a dishwasher at a hotel in Connecticut. Also worked as a cashier at Korvettes on Central Avenue and later at the one on 5th Avenue in NYC.... and while in college I worked in a diner and a gas station. I was always doing something. The jobs were out there... you just had to look.
