 Those Saturday Parks & Rec outings were the best.....the Polo Grounds even though I was a diehard Yankee fan), swimming at Wilson & Saxon and ice skating at the rink near Playland....not many P&R departments went to that great length...then or now. We had the best of all worlds growing up in Eastchester.
