What a coincidence that this topic has come up! I have been away for a week (no phones/Email/internet) and drving home tonight we were discussing my Mom going to Huntley Farms when we were kids and had upset stomaches to buy just Coke syrup. They would put a few squirts of COke Syrup into a halfpint ice cream container! I have no idea if it worked- but we must have been pretty sick not to beg for ice cream from Huntley's. (My fav was coffee ice cream)Remember the back entrance? THere was a zig-zag hallway to the back and the cigarettes machine was hald way back. THe hall was always dark! We would run as fast as we could because it was scary (When I was very young!)
