The Roone Arledge mention reminds me that one of his associate (maybe assistant) directors was a guy named Ron Hawkins. The Hawkins' were from the UK and they lived in the Grasso's garage on Hillside place for a while. The last time I saw Ron he was on stage with Roone Arledge receiving an Emmy (for the Olympic coverage, I think.)
He had a daughter a year or two younger than me. I think her name was Judy-Belle.
