Diane,

I noted you mentioned Bicknell, Fisher, Dempsey as teachers at Anne Hutchinson. I had all these teachers at Waverly School and they probably moved to Anne Hutchinson after is was built. Mrs. Fisher was 1st grade starting in 1943, Miss Dempsey was 2nd grade in 1944, and Miss Bicknell was 6th grade in 1948. Suffering from a senior moment right now, I cannot remember 3rd grade, but Miss Creavy (sp?) was 4th and Miss Pidgeon (Walter's sister I believe or some relation to him) was 5th. Those last two teachers could have been reversed in grades.
