My two daughters were married one month apart in 2004. I opted not to use a "wedding planner". I had observed a "wedding planner" at a friend's wedding and figured that I could do the same thing almost as well. So, I did the planning myself, although once we got going, I found someone (at each facility we were renting) who had good advice about caterers, flowers, cake, photographer, djs, etc.,

I think that a small group of planners from some of the classes could do a reunion this way. It would be great if the high school would offer the gym or cafeteria for one or two of the events, as Kathleen mentioned.

I might consider including more classes, and would try to send a survey first to determine whether time of year, interest, or money is the most important thing. What activities are people interested in?

Maybe some local merchants would donate items for something like a wine and cheese tasting (or NY wineries) and maybe we have alumni who have the talent to provide other entertainment (music?) inexpensively.
