I left Eastchester before Joe was put on the force so I never had the chance to talk with him as an adult. Though we didn't share the same classes I remember Joe as a friendly guy who always said hi to me in the hallway and I can't remember a mean word ever coming from him. I still correspond with a few people who are in the area and they all said the same thing about Joe. He was a good cop, a good family man, and a decent human being all the way around. RIP Joe.
