One of the many blessings I count is access to XM radio. Among the myriad choices are stations devoted to music of the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's, one station per era. The worst music was from the 70's, sad to say since I graduated in '73. Maybe that's why I like disco so much (channel 83 on XM). The alternatives were pret-ty bad (Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting?!). The 60's music is great fun. It goes from the hokey, early pre-Beatles stuff to the psychedelic post-66 music; much variety.

The 80's music was pretty darn good and I like much of the 90's collection.

Best of all, no loud, screaming voices of advertisers trying to sell me cars, mortgages or Viagra. I swear commercial radio has ten minutes of commercials in between two minutes' worth of music. Impossible to listen to it anymore.
