The white mare looked about her as she stood tied to the pasture gate. One moment she looked dignified, the next, like a little foal, very curious and mischeivious. She was named for her speed. People only could see a flash of white pass them. They said it was a Ghost. She looked down on the man below her. George. She snuck her soft nose low to him the suddenly pushed it inside his pocket, looking for a sugar cube.
