She ran around the pasture, happy to finally be out of the trailor and into a wide open space! She ran 3 times around the huge space, then finally stopped, to take a drink and relax. She lied down, away from the other horses and slept for almost an hour, until a loud screech woke her up. She snapped her head up with her ears pricked up. It screeched again. It wasnt a screech, it was Mike, her owner and friend. She got to her feet, ran to one side of the pasture, turned and faced the opposite end. She gathered all of her strength and speed then charged the other end, but right before the gate, she gave a huge leap, and cleared over the fence, hardly stumbling. "Yes!" she said to herself, and ran off toward the whistle.
