I recently went into Soho for the night with two gay male friends. I'd heard about Candy Bar and they were up for going so we went along, but at the entrance one of the bouncers told us we had to have memberships or something. Luckily there was a really nice woman who managed to get us in! When I got back I asked a friend who goes quite a bit about it and she said she'd never known it happening before.

So was that just something the bouncer made up for whatever reason? Are guys not actually very welcome at Candy at all?
