Actually, I'm an out of towner but it was my 4th time at Brighton CB and showed up with a party of 5 lesbians to find out it was Fuck The Pain Away night - a straight party. The staff had all gone to London for Gay Pride. So don't worry too much, it wasn't a lesbian night afterall.
