Nice article. Turns out this is my fav Uni horror after Bride. Enjoyed the FG oriented music, the art deco/ambience, the two titans, Karloff and Lugosi of course. A good story, fine acting, and more eerie than some other Universal horror, in my opinion.

One goof though, actress playing deceased wife of Dr.Verdegast (stolen by Poelzig and encased upright in glass after her death) moved in the film! Hmm....well, that aside, it was a very good movie.
