My favorite classic Universal horror. Great scenes, music, story of course, and acting. Never tire of watching this. Will try to catch it again tonight. Thanks for the heads up Tim.

Just finished watching "Bride" on TCM. This is like a fine wine that improves with age. Well to me anyway, it seems I enjoy watching it a tad more every time! Hmm.....pop quiz. Answer will be a couple inches below. How many times and in what scenes does the monster shed tears.

Bride of Frankenstein is one of the greatest films of the 20th century. Like Officer Torch, I never tire of watching it.
I don't have access to TCM, but was able spend Saturday evening enjoying another Universal horror classic directed by James Whale, The Invisible Man, on MeTV. That film's supporting cast includes Una O'Connor and E.E. Clive, who are both in Bride of Frankenstein as well. The Invisible Man is not as good as Bride, but it's still a marvelous picture.
The blind man's hut sequence in Bride of Frankenstein is legendary among film buffs. It's got a bit of comic relief, such as the the Monster having a smoke, but overall it's a moving, poignant depiction of loneliness and friendship.
Bride of Frankenstein is an enduring motion picture classic.
"It's a perfect night for mystery and horror. The air itself is filled with monsters."
