grey wolf sees patch of frosted ice, veering off to the right, he trips painfully over a hidden rock, then falls straight onto the ice, skidding uncontrollably towards the tree, frantic attempts to stop only make him go faster as his shoulder slams into the thick trunk, though unhurt, he looks dazed as the tree shakes, then looks up with a slight sinking feeling as the payload of snow falls in a mound ontop of him, only leaving the tip of his black snout, sigh, trapped once more...
