I signed online today and saw this article:

"WASHINGTON (June 23) - Cities may bulldoze people's homes to make way for shopping malls or other private development, a divided Supreme Court ruled Thursday, giving local governments broad power to seize private property to generate tax revenue."

When you think it can't get any worse, you read absurdity like this. This is America? Land of the FREE? The heroes at the Associated Press and AOL for broadcasting this "breaking news" story deserve a slap upside the head. Where were your journalists BEFORE the supreme court voted on this? The public needs to know when our government is debating an issue like this that hits so close to home (no pun intended). Now the debates are over, the decision is made, and we the people could lose our homes to what? A new strip mall?

I hope this is one of the things Buffalo Media Watch will help cover.
