Subject: crochet mittenss

HI and Happy New Year!!
I made these cute mittens with matching hat in thread for Christmas and sold a lot of them. They turn out sooo cute!
I'd love to have a pattern for children and adults. I'm crocheting for the needy in our small town!
I'm not smart enough to figure out how to make this pattern bigger. I tried using bigger hooks, thread but never could figure it out.
Do you know of a pattern like this? It is soo easy.
Here's a copy of the pattern. I've had this since 2007 not sure where I got it.
Thank you for any help. I have had trouble with other crochet patterns for mittens! Can't get the thumb right.

mittens Christmas ornament or pin.
rd.1. Ch. 23,sl.st. in 2nd ch from hook,slst in next 3 chs (cuff) sc in next 6 chs (top of hand),slst in next 2 chs( top of fingers),sc in next 6 chs (palm),slst in next 4 chs (cuff) ch 1, turn
rd2. Working in back loops only, slst in next 4 sts, sc in next 6 st, sl st in next 2 st,
sc in next 6 ,st sl in next 4sts, ch1 turn.
rd.3. Repeat rd. 2
Thumb:
Rd 4. Working in back loops only sl st in next 4 st, sc in next 3 st, ch2, sk next 8 sts ,sc in the next 3 st, sl st in next 4 sts, ch 1 turn.
Rd. 5 Working in back loops only, sl st in next 4 sts,sc in next 3 sts, sc in ea, next 2 chs, sc in next 3 sts, sl st in next 4 sts, leaving a length of yarn, fasten off.
Finishing.
Fold mitten in half at 2 sl sts at top of fingers. With yarn needle and rem. length of yarn sew edges of cuff, around thumb and side edge of hand together to within 2 sl st at top of hand, push needle through to opposite edge, sew opposite side of foundation ch together down side edge of hand and cuff.
Attach yarn to center of cuff of first mitten, ch 15 sl st in ceter of cuff on 2nd. mitten. fasten off.
Sew center of hat up inside hat so that 1/4 in of ch is visible between hat and mittens.
Attach pin to back.
