Subject: Dinner on the Grounds!

Well Mom(Merlen Davis Teer)and I made it home from the dinner. We arrived a bit late after I overslept, but we still managed to visit quite a few people at the dinner. There were some new folks there this year. The Koonce Family which were celebrating a memorial for one of their ancestors. I cannot remember the name they said but he was the first minister at White Rock Church. There were also the usual crowd Mr. LC which can tell some good stories and many of his family (I always remember Martha Ann). Mr. George Davis and his son Roger. George can tell a few good ones his self. Of course Rex, Dexter, which I have some fun with every year. They can never seem to remember me. Marceline Crenshaw was missed this year as she was attending an Eastern Star Installation over close to Ft.Worth I believe. I really missed visiting with her although I just saw her at my OES installation on June 14th in Houston when she performed a wonderful ceremony for me. She is really a very busy lady. I believe the Williams Family and I think it was the Anderson Family were also in attendance. I took some pictures this year and will try to get them posted up soon. The food was as good as it always is. I think because it goes so well with the company and conversations!
