NO, it DOESN'T make sense!! They ALL volunteer their time & make this happen. They don't JUST volunteer their time on the trip, it takes all year to make this happen every year. They don't get paid, beyond what they work in the morning, for this. I'm pretty sure they aren't smoozin off of the Kidd's Kids funds while they are there (only for the basics). If you are going to recognize a charity then give without thought of what YOU think they should do with the money. Recognize that it IS a really good charity & do it for the kids!
