I know that everyone tries to keep up-to-date through the message boards. This year, Ashley and myself have had a wonderful time representing Calhoun County at various Tri-state events and getting know the other girls competing with us at Peanut. It is now time for the moment we have all been waiting for, PEANUT TIME. We both received information in the mail about Ads in the Souvenir program. Just like with Calhoun County, we want to have at least a few ads to get our names out there for not only the audience members but the judges, too. Any ideas for fundraisers would be greatly appreciated because we have until the 10th of August to raise numerous amounts of money for these ads, have them designed, and turned in to the Dothan Eagle, all on this date; while paying for other fees such as dresses, interview suits/opening number outfits, etc. Sponsors have been notified but of course the rumors are true, and Peanut Ads are very expensive. Those of you who have been through peanut know, this is a very stressful/bittersweet time.
