Subject: Summer Splash... An Exceptional Pageant

I need your help!!!! The Summer Splash pageant is for children and adults with a disability. I have a couple of little girls that have sent in their deposits and I DO NOT want to break their hearts and have to cancel this pageant. I have extended the deadline for deposits until June 6 which is going to be really pushing it to get everything done. I do not want to break their little hearts so please if you know of anyone with a child that has a disability that would like to be in a pageant send them my email. Thanks to you all!!!

Summer Splash… An Exceptional Pageant!

@ The Exceptional Foundation in Homewood, Alabama.

You are cordially invited to participate in the first ever Summer Splash Exceptional Pageant.

This pageant is specifically designed for children and adults with a disability. Every contestant will receive a beautiful crown and gift just for entering.

No one will go home empty-handed!

Age Groups: 0 -12 months, 13 – 24 months, 25 – 36 months, 3 & 4 years, 5 & 6 years, 7 & 8 years, 9 & 10 years,
11 & 12 years, 13 – 15 years, 16 – 18 years, 19 – 21 years, 22 & up.

Pageant Attire - Contestants will be competing in beauty competition only. Contestants may pick from a formal “pageant” type dress or they may wear “Sunday” dresses. Contestants WILL NOT be counted off for style of dress. We want this pageant to be fun and exciting.
Division Winners – Each age group will be awarded one Princess and one Queen. The Princess and Queen will receive a beautiful crown, trophy, banner and gift. We will also award 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place beauty alternates. Alternates will receive beautiful crown, trophy and gift.
Future Queen - Anyone not receiving a queen, princess or alternate will be awarded a crown and gift and be recognized as a future queen.
Best Awards – We will also give out best awards for those that enter this portion of the pageant. The best awards will be… Best Smile, Best Dressed, Prettiest Eyes, and Most Beautiful. We will give these awards to each age group. You must be entered in these events for an additional fee to be eligible. Winners will receive a trophy.
COMPETITION GUIDELINES: All contestants will be judged on facial beauty, overall appearance, and personality.

DOOR ADMISSION: Be sure to tell your family and friends to come to the pageant to cheer you on! Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children age 12 and under. Children 3 and under enter for free. Everyone except contestants must pay admission. Cash only will be accepted for admission tickets at the door.

ENTRY INFORMATION: NO DOOR ENTRIES will be accepted. Checks will be accepted through June 6.

Cash ONLY at the door. No exceptions, sorry. Please fill out your entry form and return it with a $25.00 deposit to the director at the address below NO LATER THAN JUNE 6, as this allows us time to purchase the special gifts for every contestant. This is vitally important to the success of the pageant, and we appreciate your cooperation. Your deposit goes toward your pageant fees. You may pay the remainder in cash at the door.
