Author: Illusion
Subject: Thy Soul Be Obscured

Dubbance: Illusion

Winter: 4 winters

Appearance: Pure black. Long, silky mane and tail. Socks on all legs. Intelligent, gentle eyes. A small star on the forehead. Strong, arching neck and long legs. About 15 hands high.

Breed: Hanoverian

Gender: Mare

Personality: Has a fairly quiet disposition. She is very tolerant of 'negative' behavior and moods, but can be firm when she wants to. Most of the time she is a kind, quiet mare but can have a totally different face with those who are close to her.

Sample Post:
A jet black mare lifted her head from the grass. It was short and strong and bitter, but it was an energy-provider. She went under a tree, her hooves crushing the small shoots underneath her, getting away from the scorching hot sun. Around her was a vast land, mostly made of the grass she was eating with dirt poking up shyly. At the horizon was the beginning of a dry land. Only a few trees were there, and even they were spindly and weak and flaky. It seemed like a puff of wind would rip them out of their roots and reduce them to a pile of grey-brown dust.
How ironic it is, She thought. Land with food and water and shade, and next to it is a merciless land. I doubt I'd venture far there! 'Tis a pity; I, Illusion, am eternally confined to this land. Illusion raised her head and let out a ringing snort and pawed at the ground. The dirt covered her hoof up to her fetlock, and stood out from her ebony body like an unwanted firefly disturbing her from sleep. She shook it off her leg. The mare cantered far far away, her long legs stretching underneath and covering much of the ground, then turned, and cantered back to the tree. Her coat was shiny with a paper-thin layer of sweat, and her sides heaved slightly. Illusion walked around to cool herself off.
Her soft brown eyes scrunitized the ancient tree that sheltered her and lay down on her stomach, her legs tucked neatly underneath. The mare lightly rested her head on the ground, and lay there for hours, until she felt the wind and grass and ground pulse their life in unison.
