Hi Mary, We are ok. Yes its true they are alot of places here that is flooded. The bayous are coming over the roads and some peoples houses is underwater. Rita caused more of a different kind of damage than katrina. Katrina we got winds. Tore up the carport and some shingles. Rita was about the same. But the rain was bad with high winds. My roof is leaking now. But other than that we are ok. Just worried of what might come of the one in the gulf. The winds of Rita was whipping you around if you was outside. Of course we lost power again. Whats new right. Thank you for the concern Mary, I was worried about you guys also. I hope this is the end of it for us this year. Because we cannot take anymore water and certainly not anymore wind. Hopefully soon the water will start to go down. Just pray we all are done with these storms so we can try to rebuilt and restart our lives.. God bless
