I've always been interested in legends and myths and ancient 'monuments' related to them.

There are some interesting 'universal' legends that lend creedence to them being based on actual events and places.

I'm surprised I never came across this amazing find before. I would love to see the video footage Heretic mentioned.

I do believe there were major civilizations long before what is commonly held as the 'start' in mesopotamia.

The evidence doesn't support a natural erosive mechanism. No debris at the base. The angles and shapes are too unatural as well. truly fascinating.
