I am doing something similar with regard to the much more sudden Aug-Oct 1972 exodus of the Asians from Uganda on the orders of Idi Amin Dada, but at a more popular level. The contents may be judged from the below paste. I should love to hear from any Ugandan Asians out there for their stories.
