The problem is not just with puppy mills- the definition of a puppy mill needs to be expanded to include so called reputable breeders who are practicing "Line-Breeding". This is a HUGE issue - look closely at all the little souls that are peddled as "healthy" (and are actually considered cull) for significant profit by uncaring - greedy people. My English - from supposed Champion Stock died two days ago from congestive/congenital heart failure--he was only 3 yrs old. Normally the parents would be steralized when such a condition appears in the line---- I seriously doubt this will occur---
If any one knows where I can register a complaint with the state of Florida- please let me know-- I've written to the BCA as well as the AKC to no avail....
I agree lets get the word out- but lets expand the definition
