Well, it's national news now. MSNBC had a nice touch on their story...The arrest record of the owner.
I'm just sorry to say that WOC is one of thousands of 'businesses' which treat animals in this way. As long as people buy from them, they will continue to stay in business and peddle suffering animals who were acquired for next to nothing.
Please, everyone, buy from a reputable breeder ONLY (one who has the parents on the premises), and ask to see their facilities & the parents before you buy. If you can afford to pay thousands for a pet, then you can afford to at least visit the breeder from whence the puppy originated.
